Veteran actor Anupam Kher's office in Mumbai's Veera Desai area was broken into by thieves on Wednesday night. The actor himself shared the news on his Instagram account on Thursday, detailing the incident and the stolen items.

They then stole the entire safe from the accounts department and a box containing the negative of a film produced by Kher's company. Kher also mentioned in his post that the thieves likely couldn't crack open the safe. Anupam Kher files FIR Anupam Kher's staff promptly filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police. Kher claims that CCTV footage captured the thieves leaving the office in an auto-rickshaw with the stolen items. The police have reportedly assured the actor of a swift investigation and the apprehension of the culprits.
